Day 6: Feb 10, 2013 Sunday!

It's Sunday - there is so much to see & do in nyc (and to take pictures of!), let's go!

After McDonald's for breaky, church at Times Square! An amazing huge, old theatre. The welcome person was the sweetest woman and led us to a seat a few rows from the front - she seemed so blessed that we were going to stay for the WHOLE 2 hr service :)
(We smuggled in our egg sandwhiches & snuck quick bites & photos!) Worshipping with thousands was incredible, and the pastor's message was so grounded and Spirit led. A blessed time!
(eventho we were sooooo tired by this day & just mighta caught a little shut eye once or twice...with our eyes open?!)

O, the ceiling...

 Just a 'small' worship team/choir!
(That just might be a bite of egg goin' down...)

After church, gathering our thoughts/plans for the day...

Thrilled to see the SUNSHINE!

YAY!

One of my nyc goals - to purchase a pretzel from a street vendor!

With mustard (for some reason traditional)!

The big screens all over r so interesting...they change moment to moment...

A common sight, esp in the evenings - appreciate the honesty!
(luv how this pic caught the man in camo 'meggings'!)

The inside of a Canadian tourist's purse :) complete with half a pretzel!

 Iconic view of The City
Sister ferry of the one we r riding on

 Highlight of my trip...
Hello Lady :)

Onto the Brooklyn Bridge...

Gayle's rubber boots - brilliant!

Locks for love...google it <3

More church today!

Another meaningful service...eventhough we were clearly the oldest peeps in the night club setting! Luved to be amongst all those young folk rockin' out & praisin' Jesus :)
(even with the music pulsating in our chests...the exhaustion got the best of us again, pluse we were finally sitting still...and we may or may not have been caught nodding off - with our eyes open??! creepy)

After many quick trips over the days, coming up from the subway stops in Grand Central Terminal...we finally sat still tonight to gaze in awe...and have a night cap :)

A Cocktail a Day
I was offended by the bartender's  description of "a girl's drink" and determined, "I want a whiskey!"
R: Adirondack - so yummy!
G: The 'girlie drink' - booooring!

Overwhelmingly simple & stunning. Ask Gayle about her celebrity sighting!
Bittersweet planning for tomorrow...our last day!

Our welcome home every night :)
