Last full day in The City - and it will be just as packed as all the others...out on the streets at 6:30am, again!
Ok, our first real rainy day...that umbrella has had its day from all the days of snow, sleet & wind!
Bought her a new one @ the coffee truck a few minutes later :)
In line @ NBC Studios for standby tickets to Live!
Early, cold, wet, miserable, soggy hair...but free coffee & on the streets of nyc with my Bestie = very happy!
After an hour of waiting in line outside we finally got our standy by ticket...was still no guarantee of getting in, but "come back at 8:30am"
So, we sit at our fav, familiar coffee shop & do important stuff, like sewing & feulling up!
We got in!!!

Unfortunately, this was our view much of the time :(
But, it was pretty cool, being in the studio. Look at all the lights!

During breaks he & she would grab a mic & chat with the audience, graciously pose for photos, sign autographs...it was fun.
First guest! As I am taking the pic, she says to me, "Everyone has a camera these days!" and pulls out her iphone :)
